2010 Anchuca Bed & Breakfast Class in Vicksburg Mississippi November 10-14 2010 This year's project is an Antebellum roombox named "Bonnie" after the Bonnie Blue Suite at the Baer House Mansion. The kit will come complete with faux finished framed outer box and an inner wooden removable inner box. The measurements are 9" deep, height is 15 3/4 " inches tall by 13 1/2 inches wide. The weight is 20 lbs complete and fits in an overhead for flyers. Students are asked to bring: Sample wall paint (Not acrylic) and they are available at paint stores for under $4.00 a jar. (I used 3 shades for the effect in the project.) Also silk fabric for the drapery of the color scheme they want to use, fabric for accent pillows and window seat fabric. Walnut flooring and a decorative ceiling medallion will be used in the box along with Lawbre floor trims & will come with each kit. I chose to do this to give the student their own custom look. We will be making the stained glass with painted glass insert windows in the class and other inserts will be available to accent the students color choice. Chandeliers this year are by "Luminations by Mr. K" and are available at our Wine & Chocolate special sales night. If you have a special fixture you wish to use you are welcome to bring it. Contact boards, lead clicker switch wire & transformers will be available for sale at a discount on sales night. Request for chandeliers & sconces need to be turned in with this year's contract. Please visit Luminations by Mr. K to view fixtures that will be available for request. Contracts are available by calling Jo at (256) 722-4786. Rooms begin at $680.00 that cover the kit, door prizes, gift bag, food for the stay and a special surprise from Jo & Andy.
